Clear Remedy Review #2

Well, I have been using Clear Remedy for about a month now, which means this 3-step acne treatment system has just gone through its greatest challenge: the PMS stage. Hate to be so up front, but truth is, I really do believe that so many of my life issues, including my skin, are due to the rise and fall of progesterone and estrogen in my body, and unfortunately my hormones put up a huge fight this month.

I took this picture right in the midst of the battle. It seems that just one side of my face was breaking out, and I even got a zit on my nose, which hasn’t happened in ages! I admit, I was tempted to switch back to ProActiv, but I did stick with Clear Remedy.

I don’t think Clear Remedy is entirely to blame or even to blame at all. I always experience a huge amount of stress in August due to the return of a home school routine, so I am sure that had something to do with breaking out more than usual. Also, insomnia struck this month. Throw in a cold coming on, and that just makes for a disastrous complexion!

I think it’s important to note, that as of right now, my face has calmed down and is pretty much back to what I want to be “normal”. No lasting damage, and overall my skin has a nice, even tone.

Before I end this review, I would like to point out 2 Clear Remedy positives. One, I like the fact that the acne treatment lotion doesn’t bleach fabrics!! I found this out by accidentally squirting some on a dark colored shirt. Two, Clear Remedy isn’t harsh on my skin. I haven’t experienced dryness that can be so common when using products designed for acne prone skin.
